Le 1er groupe am�ricain qui a r�ussi � vendre le plus de disques aux Etats-unis en s'auto-produisant,car personne ne voulait les signer. Quelque chose d'encore in�gal�.Ils ne voulaient pas �tre sign� par des majors et pourtant leur 4 albums ont tous fait un carton plan�taire. Kurt Kobain a dit si je n'avait pas red�couvert les Pixies en les r��coutant, je n'aurais jamais fait Never Mind et In Utero.
